We Are So RAD!

No, really we are! Us girls, our mom and our longtime friend have recently graduated from a self defense class taught by our local university campus police department called RAD (Rape, Aggression, Defense).

Can we just say what a experience! (A fun, and bruising one) We certainly feel like we have not only grown in the physical ability aspect but in general confidence and personal empowerment as well.

We want to give many, many thanks to the instructors who volunteered their time and were so willing to let us beat up on them every week. ;)

We have unfortunately realized that after our graduation, we now suffer from a little case...ok, ok... a BIG case of RAD withdrawal. We just can't wait until the next time around. But until autumn we will just have to suffice with watching and re watching our simulation video!

So, hiiyah! Waatcha! POW! And a BAM!
